As
the 2016 NPA Lagos International Polo Tournament takes off tomorrow
in Lagos, Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) has announced it partnership with
the Nigerian Polo Association (NPA) to make the premier polo competition
in Nigeria a memorable event.
The president, Lagos Polo Club, Ade Laoye
announced that a couple of changes were made this year in order for the
fans, sponsors and players to enjoy the maximum fun on offers.
The yearly event which has come to be associated with much pomp and fanfare will be holding from Wednesday, 8th to Sunday, 21 February, 2016, at the Lagos Polo Club, Ikoyi, Lagos.

It will
feature most of the top polo players in the country and abroad with
about 24 teams competing for laurels during the two week tourney.
Top
players like the Argentine trio of Frankie Menendez, Diego White and
Santiago Cruz Marambio are expected to compete for the coveted
Majekodumi Cup, which is one of the oldest polo cups in the country.
